On Wednesday, KRG the Don and fellow musician Bahati were officially welcomed to the ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party by Secretary General Cleophas Malala at the party’s headquarters.
The move comes after President William Ruto fulfilled his promise to include musicians and entertainers in his government, as expressed by KRG in a video posted on Instagram.

During the event, KRG and Bahati were given UDA-branded clothing and were accompanied by comedian MC Jessy, who previously contested the South Imenti Parliamentary seat as an independent candidate after failing to secure a UDA ticket for the 2022 General Election.
