Singer Akothee has criticized Miguna Miguna, a Canada-based lawyer, for questioning her pre-nuptial arrangements with her new husband.
Miguna had raised concerns about the financial status of Akothee’s husband, Dennis ‘Omosh’ Schweizer.
Akothee took to social media to respond, asking Miguna to disclose his net worth before commenting on her marriage.
She also warned him to stay away from her private life, adding that if he wants to engage with her, he should do so in Parliament.
Akothee went on to defend her choice of husband, stating that she can’t marry for wealth as she has her own money.
Where was he when I was building my empire? He never knew the broke Akothee. Therefore, he has no business advising me on how to handle my wealth or who to spend it with.
Besides, I’ve never seen anyone advise a mzungu to sign a prenup before marrying an African lady, why so?”
