After a long and illustrious career, the music industry is bidding farewell to one of its most talented performers. P-Unit’s Frasha has officially dropped the mic after 23 years in the music industry.
Frasha – as part of the P-Unit trio , had been a constant presence on Kenyan charts, captivating audiences with their unique sound and electrifying performances before they parted ways. They produced hit after hit, collaborating with other talented artists and forging a musical legacy with tunes such as ‘You guy’ and ‘Kare’.
Bon-EYE, Frasha and Gabu together made – P-Unit. After their split, they went on to pursue solo projects. Frasha and Gabu got into politics. -vying for Member of County Assembly (MCA) seats in Machakos and Nairobi counties respectively.
Frasha first vied in 2017 for the Athi River MCA seat, before Gabu followed his footsteps and went for the Kenyatta Golf Course MCA in 2022. Both were, however, unsuccessful
The former P-Unit member made the announcement a few hours ago.

23 is a magical number for me , 2023 is a magical year for me and 23rd is when I bid the game goodbye officially.
Thursday 23rd 2023 will be my last public show and also my birthday party .
