In a recent development, 50 Cent has been identified as a suspect in a criminal felony battery case, as reported by Power 106 radio host Bryhana Monegain.
The incident in question occurred during his concert in Los Angeles, where it is alleged that he threw a microphone in the direction of his crew located at the production area, TMZ Reports.
Regrettably, the microphone struck Monegain, leading to her hospitalization due to a head laceration.
Monegain suggested that 50 Cent was aware of her presence as he reportedly made direct eye contact with her just before throwing the microphone.
Reportedly, 50 Cent’s frustration stemmed from issues with malfunctioning microphones provided to him during the event.
In response to these allegations, the rapper’s attorney, Scott Leemon, conveyed to TMZ that his client had no intention of causing harm to any specific individual when he tossed the microphone.
Leemon emphasized,
Let’s be very clear, as I told LAPD this afternoon, my client Curtis (AKA 50 Cent) would never intentionally strike anyone with a microphone. Anyone saying something different doesn’t have all the facts and is misinformed.”
